Abchurch team expands with impressive new recruits

Simone Alves, Mark Dixon and Matthew Neal join the Abchurch team as Account Executives.
Simone joins the Abchurch team from Nature Publishing Group, where she wrote for Nature Reports Stem Cells and Nature Reviews Cancer, amongst others. Simone is a first class Honours graduate in Genetics, and went on to complete a Masters in Research in Integrated Biomedical Sciences, at Imperial College, London. During her undergraduate degree Simone was also to spend a year working with a prominent pharmacogenetics research group at the David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA.
Mark graduated from Liverpool University with a degree in English and Philosophy before gaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations. During this time Mark gained experience with agencies working in consumer, trade and technical PR. Since completing his Diploma in 2006, Mark has been working for a national PR consultancy across a number of sectors on business-to-business, business-to-consumer and not-for-profit PR programmes.
Matthew graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in History and Italian, during which time he studied the History of Journalism in Perugia, Italy. After his degree, Matthew took a Graduate Diploma in Law at City University. His prior experience includes financial and technology PR. Before joining Abchurch’s graduate training programme Matthew was a member of Boris Johnson’s successful London Mayoral campaign team. Matthew speaks fluent Italian and Polish.
