Bluewater Bio chooses Abchurch … naturally

Bluewater Bio, developer and provider of an advanced wastewater treatment technology, has appointed Abchurch Communications to provide ongoing corporate and environmental PR advice during and subsequent to its de-listing from AIM in November 2008.

Bluewater Bio has developed a cost-effective technology, based on sustainable and naturally occurring bacteria, to generate re-useable ‘grey’ water from effluent. Its proprietary technology, called HYBACS, reduces operational expenditure, primarily electricity consumption, by up to 50% compared to current like-for-like wastewater treatment technologies. Bluewater Bio is involved at all stages of the process from plant design and costing through to installation, commissioning and training and, when required, the provision of ongoing operation and maintenance.

By employing the experience of Abchurch’s Green PR team lead by Justin Heath, Director, the Company has already been profiled in the Financial Times and has seen its environmental news covered in a range of trade press.
