China Food Company plc (AIM:CFC), the leading Chinese manufacturer of branded cooking and dipping sauces, has appointed Abchurch Communications to provide ongoing financial and corporate communications advice.
Abchurch, one of the UK’s leading financial, corporate and investor communications consultancies with extensive expertise in advising companies based in Asia, has taken on a remit to build up the profile and understanding of China Food within the media and investment communities.
China Food, which listed on AIM in December 2007 and which is based in Shandong province in China, operates a group of well-established food manufacturing businesses producing a range of cooking and dipping sauces as well as a range of animal feeds. China Food is the 9th largest producer of soya sauce in China, with strong brands in cooking and dipping sauces which are sold throughout north-eastern China via a network of distributors and outlets of hypermarket chains, including Tesco, Wal Mart, Carrefour and Jialejia.
Abchurch will be working with its IPREX partner in China to deliver a coordinated programme ensuring media coverage is achieved both in Europe and in China.
