Hanson Westhouse banks on Abchurch expertise

Hanson Westhouse Holdings plc, the integrated corporate finance and broking house focusing on small and mid-cap companies, has appointed Abchurch Communications to provide ongoing financial and corporate PR advice. Abchurch, one of the UK’s leading financial, corporate and investor communications consultancies, has taken on a remit to build up the profile of Hanson Westhouse as a high-quality, relationship-based broking and corporate finance business headed by City luminaries.

Hanson Westhouse plc was admitted to trading on AIM on 16 June 2009 following a reverse takeover of SovGEM Limited, a transaction which has further strengthened Hanson Westhouse’s asset base, potential income streams, and management expertise. Hanson Westhouse believes that the quotation will beneficially bring to the firm a combination of industry-recognised senior management with strong and diverse track record in investment banking and investment management. The Company also expects that the listing will heighten its profile which will assist in the retention and winning of new corporate clients, as well as the retention and hiring of staff.

Leading the Abchurch account will be Henry Harrison-Topham, Managing Director who heads up the Special Situations team and Monique Tsang, Account Manager.
