Nanotecture, an innovative company with patented nanoporous technologies for multiple applications such as energy storage, has appointed Abchurch Communications to unveil its capabilities in the UK, mainland Europe and Asian markets via a campaign focused on profile building within the broad engineering industry.
Based in Southampton, Nanotecture specialises in the production of nanoporous materials and the development of highly efficient electrical storage devices based on those materials. End uses for those devices include: back-up power systems; mobile communications devices; electrical demand management, especially in renewable energy generation; and hybrid / electric vehicles.
The nanoporous materials developed by Nanotecture are characterised by very high surface areas, typically hundreds of times the area of the equivalent non-porous materials. Abchurch will underpin its core trade programme in the energy, environmental and engineering press with thought-leadership articles in corporate and business titles, helping Nanotecture identify target markets beyond the energy sector (for instance in sensors, filtration, construction and medical devices).
Leading the Abchurch account will be Justin Heath (Managing Director), who heads up the clean technology team, supported by Simone Elviss (Account Manager) and Quincy Allan (Account Executive).
