Abchurch appointed for Corporate communications and financial PR remit

Abchurch has won the corporate communications and financial Public Relations brief to provide Noble Investments, the international rare coin and stamp dealer and auctioneer, (“Noble” or “the Group”) with an integrated communications programme to raise its profile within the business and financial press.  Noble owns two major brands; A. H. Baldwin & Sons, which was established in 1872 and is a leader in the field of numismatics, and Apex Philatelics, which focuses on the auctioning of world stamps.

In addition, Abchurch will be working on a specific project to promote the Prospero Collection of over 600 of the most beautiful and historically important ancient Greek coins. The collection will be auctioned on 4 January 2012 through the Group’s subsidiary A. H. Baldwin & Sons and is expected to be valued at several millions of pounds. This is one of the most desirable collections of ancient rare coins in existence, and having been collated over many decades, the collection has remained complete and untouched for the last 20 years.

Julian Bosdet, Chief Executive of Abchurch, commented: “I am delighted that Noble Investments has chosen to appoint Abchurch. Rare and valuable coins and stamps are becoming increasingly appealing, not only to collectors, but to a much wider audience who are looking for alternative investments. We look forward to working with Ian Goldbart and his team.”

Director, Joanne Shears, will lead the account team supported by Mark Dixon, Account Director and Jamie Hooper, Account Executive
