Abchurch wins IPO of Spectra Systems Corporation

Abchurch has won the IPO and financial PR remit for Spectra Systems Corporation, a leading provider of advanced technology solutions for banknote and product authentication.  Abchurch Communications has been appointed to provide financial PR support as Spectra Systems announces its intention to seek admission of its shares to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.  Dealings are expected to commence on AIM in July 2011.   

Headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island in the United States, Spectra Systems invents, develops, manufactures and markets advanced technology-based products used primarily to authenticate and process banknotes.  Founded in 1996 by its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Nabil Lawandy, the Company has focused on the commercialisation of technologically advanced security products, both covert and public, for banknotes and other documents.  Spectra Systems provides an integrated solution, in that it supplies engineered consumable materials for authentication and processing purposes, as well as hardware and software systems which verify the presence of the authentication and processing materials.

Abchurch is considered one of the UK’s leading providers of financial public relations advice surrounding IPOs on the London Stock Exchange, having advised on 67 successful listings over a five year period.
