Gareth Mead, Account Director :: Gareth worked as a broadcast journalist for the BBC over eight years, covering national and international news at every level for radio, television and online. He was European Correspondent for global media corporation, Clear Channel Communications during 2001. He qualified from the University of Leeds as a Broadcast Journalist Honours graduate, and has also worked in PR agencies in both America and Australia. As lead PR advisor to an international legal and financial publisher in the City, he joined Abchurch in September 2005, specialising in media relations. Gareth has been shortlisted as a finalist for the forthcoming Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ (CIPR) Young Communicator of the Year Award for 2008.
